Granules in the pool
Gastin Montemayor has spent years on McAllen properties through his pool service business, Bayside Pools. Week after week, he pulled the same grit out of skimmers and filters: shingle granules, washed off sun-baked roofs and into backyard pools.
It was a visible sign of something homeowners couldn't see — Valley roofs drying out years ahead of schedule. And the only answer local roofers offered was a full replacement.
Gastin started Lone Star to offer what the Valley was missing: an honest assessment, a real repair crew, quality replacements when they're needed — and ShingleLock rejuvenation, which no one else in the Rio Grande Valley offers.
